Alta has 5 years’ experience working with social enterprises, grassroots NGOs, and multinational organisations in Asia Pacific. Prior to joining APLMA, she supported organisations with a wide array of communications and capacity building needs, from developing a report for the Asian Development Bank, launching a proposal writing start-up in Nepal to consulting on resource mobilisation for clients including UNICEF, World Vision, and UN Volunteers at Philantropia.

Alta has a Master’s in Public Policy from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor’s degree in Global Liberal Studies from New York University. She has published papers and articles for Development Asia, Global-is-Asian, and ProposalsforNGOs. She has a passion in analysing the intersections of gender, sustainability, health, and policy in international development.
