
Amita Chebbi
Executive Vice President, Advocacy and Programs
Ms Amita Chebbi is the Executive Vice President, Advocacy and Programs for the Asia Pacific Leaders Malaria Alliance and Asia Pacific Malaria Elimination Network.
Amita has over 20 years of experience in the public and private sectors, across strategy, partnerships and business development. Her global health experience spans disease areas of HIV, TB and nutrition, working on country programs, access to medicines and resource mobilization. Through previous roles at The Power of Nutrition and Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), Amita was responsible for evaluating new opportunities, setting up partnerships, fundraising and managing country operations. She is also experienced in decision-making for investments and grants, having led the South Asia office of the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF) in Delhi.
In a previous life, she worked in the commercial banking and credit rating industry. She is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
