Director, Global Communications
Dimple has over 20 years experience in healthcare communications, developing strategic communications programs and supporting advocacy and health systems strengthening initiatives Globally and in Asia Pacific. Prior to joining APLMA, she worked as a consultant and with Takeda’s Access to Medicines business, where she supported multi-stakeholder partnerships and health strengthening activities across Asia and Africa. Prior to this, she worked at global communications firm Edelman, leading their health sector and teams to support a range of private and public sector clients in Singapore and the region with healthcare communications, corporate reputation, issues management, campaigns and workshops. Over the years she has delivered integrated communications programs in the UK, Europe and Globally for pharmaceutical and biotech companies, scientific secretariats and NGO’s across a broad spectrum of disease areas.
Her passion for science and global health started out in the UK where she graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science and spent time as a researcher in Brazil through a Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO) program.
