
Dr. Harsh Rajvanshi
Associate Director, Country Programmes
Dr Rajvanshi is a public health professional and a trained clinician. He brings first-hand experience in malaria elimination through his previous role as Head of Operations, Chief Epidemiologist, and Monitoring & Evaluation Officer for the Malaria Elimination Demonstration Project (MEDP) in Madhya Pradesh, India. At MEDP, he worked extensively with tribal communities of Mandla on targeting indigenous malaria elimination across the district. At APLMA, Dr Rajvanshi, leads the development of country-specific malaria approaches for engaging and supporting high burden geographies as well as providing broad technical input across APLMA’s policy and advocacy efforts.
Harsh has authored over 30 papers in peer-reviewed journals and serves on the reviewer panel of BMJ Global Health, Journal of Clinical Epidemiology and Global Health, Research and Reports in Tropical Medicine.
He holds a Bachelors in Dental Surgery (B.D.S) with a Master’s in Public Health (M.P.H) and specializing in Epidemiology from Prasanna School of Public Health, Manipal University. He is also pursuing his executive Ph.D in Public Health from the Department of Community Medicine, HIMSR, Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi.
