Anushka is a public health professional with over a decade of experience working across the public sector, nonprofits, and philanthropic foundations to strengthen health data collection, analysis and use in public policy.

Prior to consulting for APLMA and Vital Strategies, she served as Gender Equity Technical Advisor for the Bloomberg Philanthropies’ Data for Health Initiative at Vital Strategies, working with governments across 26 countries to improve gender data collection and use in public health policy. She has also previously worked with the Milken Institute, the WHO Western Pacific Regional Office, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the Health Promotion Board, Singapore.

Anushka holds a Master of Public Health degree from the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the National University of Singapore.
